Widgets on blog, not home page

hey guys- just installed Mustang last night and have ran into a little issue... I want it set up like the live example on the site where my home page has all the widgets on it and the blog to just be a list of my recent post. For some reason the homepage has no widgets and they all show up on the blog page "News & Events" above the posts. http://jmlroofing.com/wp
