Why does the slider stop working

They often stop working, watch image link above. What can I do about it? It's very important that the websites work correctly and show what events the artists have going on. Most of the time I can get the slider to start working again by, for example, changing something in the settings and then changing it back. But it will be impossible if I am forced to check and fix the slider on a daily basis, and can no longer trust that it works.
