When the page is set to homepage the content loses full-width layout feature.

Hey guys I'm having a huge problem. I'm trying to set my WORKS Page as Homepage with a full-width layout tiled gallery and couple of media, however I notice it loses the full-width layout feature. If I set the page back to regular page goes back to full-width. I also notice that all the NEWS, PORTFOLIO, SERVICES etc.. when is enable goes full-width but the page content still not. Any help?? Thanks
