Upgradint to PRO version with childtheme

Hi, I would like to update Catch responsive free to Catch responsive pro version. However we are using child theme. Do I need anything special before upgrading in order to copy the child theme settings and avoid crashing the site? I will use catch updater plugin. Thanks a lot, Petr
