upgrading from simple catch to Pro

hi there. i'm using simple catch for my site and recently upgraded to the pro version. when i activate the pro version, i noticed most of my tweaks and updates change back to the default settings. i thought i did most of my changes via A child theme (and the custom css field) so i didn't think this was supposed to happen? any suggestions? thanks
