Updating to 3.0 has broken social media icons

Hi there, I updated to 3.0 and all of my social media icons have disappeared with the exception of the custom one installed. Is there a good way to fix this? I've gone into customize theme -> Social Links. I've tried removing the links, saving and re-adding. Nothing but grey circles with empty boxes in it.
