Updated Jetpack Plugin; Site Now Down

I recently made a new post to my site running the Catch Adaptive free theme, and that went through with no problem. Then, I updated the Jetpack plugin and got the bold "maintenance/unavailable" message and since then, the site is down with a Error 500 message. Any ideas?
