Updated from 2.7 to 3.3 Questions/Issues

Upgraded from 2.7 from 3.3 and have the following questions/issues: 1. I have forgotten to use the Customizer and use the old theme settings screen. If I save anything, it wipes everything out. I've had to redo my settings many times! 2. Where do I enter footer code now? 3. Previously, I had Jetpack image's on the widget sidebar and the images filled the box. Not sure how I did it before, but if it was custom css, it's not working any more. My site is \\sacredheart.org\School. 4. Previously my search box was collapsed, in the social bar. How do I do that again?
