Update from 4.4 to 4.9.3

Hi I Just updated from 4.4 to 4.9.3 > From what I see so far, the featured contend from the homepage is gone (three colums under featured slider) and the color in the footer tured to white, where it sould be blue. deleting and reactivating the featured content posts was not successful Can you assist? regards, Heinz
