Update changed site description and color…..please help!

My site was fine and then after the update I see that the CSS I previously made isn't taking effect anymore. I need the site description bigger and in gold and the menu to be the same gold. It is listed in my CSS editor but isn't working. Can someone please help? www.nickthebuilder.com
