Unresponsive mobile menu on home page

Hi, This problem began sometime after this website was built several years ago. I have only been able to test this on an Android phone, but the mobile menu is inactive on the Home page. There is a prominent "Hire Me" button which leads to a secondary page where the menu works. The browsers checked are Firefox, Vivaldi and Chrome. Please help! Thank you
