Undefined index: news_ticker_show (line 162)

When I enable news ticker on clean magazine (free version), I receive the following notice: Notice: Undefined index: news_ticker_show in themes/clean-magazine/inc/clean-magazine-news-ticker.php on line 162. When I track down that specific line, it shows: $show_content = $options['news_ticker_show']; I have read two blog/ support posts that suggest to make sure each page has a featured image and another to disable plugins one by one. Neither have yielded results. My site is currently updated to Wordpress version 5.0.1. Can someone please help me in fixing this problem. Thank you in advance. PS: If it helps, it will properly display "demo content", but when I try to include my own pages it does not.
