unable to use wpDiscuz in Catch Responsive Pro

I want to use wpDiscuz to handle my comments, but it appears it needs <?php comments_template() ?> in the page.php and single.php files that may be missing or not working right in Catch Responsive Pro. That is kind of a guess. It could be something else, but I couldn't find these files, so am thinking it is maybe that. (The guy who answers the questions on the wpDiscuz forum is one of those people who go to a non-English speaking country and just keeps saying the same thing in English over and over louder and louder like repetition and volume will make people suddenly understand him. He's not very helpful.)
