Unable to Remove Primary Menu – Kathmandu Pro 3.0

Hi, I am unable to remove or hide from view the primary menu in my Kathmandu Pro 3.0 theme. I go to (Appearance-> Customize -> Navigation) and in editing the primary menu, if I leave the dropdown at ( --Select-- ) then save, the primary menu still shows. This could be a possible bug.
