Unable to add Buttons to Adventurous Theme

I have tried adding buttons to my website using two different plugins - MaxButton and Buttons Short Code and Widget. I need to have these buttons working. Two buttons have been added, using the Short Code and Widget plugin, to the Main Sidebar. They are located in between the Search bar and the Newsletter, but they can't be seen.
