Trying to enable remote posting

I am trying to post remotely to a site using Catch Box. I need to enable xmlrpc protocol in order to do this with the software I have. This is not a problem with other websites I have but for the one using Catch Box the settings in WP appear to have altered, with the Remote Posting section missing. As a result, the enable xmlrpc option is no longer available under "settings/writing" in the dashboard. How do I get around this? Many thanks in advance for your help.
