too much space and translation problems

I have two problems: on my comming website http://www.medvind.dk/Wordpress38 - I have to much space below the header slideshow. Which file should I change to get content and widget higher up? and then I want to translate "Previous" "Next" so that my website is all danish, but I can´t find a way to do it? hope to get help thks BentMedvind
