too much Header white space

Two questions about the header area of my site https://staging2.onlynaturalseo.com 1. How can I get rid of or reduce the amount of white space that appears above my primary menu? 2. (less important) Is there any way to add content that is not a live "menu option" to fill some of the space between the menu and the search icon? Thank you.
