Title & Tagline don't appear on phone

Hi, When viewing my site on a smartphone, the title and tagline are not visible. The same thing happens if you extremely narrow the browser window on a desktop computer. The logo remains, but title/tagline disappear. Anyway to fix this? http://ifp.gly.uga.edu/ifp/ It looks great on an ipad, BTW. Thanks!
