Thumbnail Images on Blog Page

Hello, I am using the free version of Catch Responsive and would like to have small thumbnails next to each blog entry on the page that shows the list of posts. I know it is available on the paid for version, but I would like to use it. I am obviously aware I can't set this from the Excerpt options, but there must be a way of coding it. Could someone assist me please? Thank you in advance.
