Thanks for the wonderful theme (Catch Evrest) we have just got our wesite http://www.impelpro.com customized but need help on bellow points :

1. The entire space right of the logo looks empty can I have my menu moved there.
2. Are there any other styles for social media icons alternatively can I add my own
3. In the footer it says “powered by WordPress : catch Everest ” can I change this to say something else.
4. Can I add “Request a quote” for on the home page.

Please feel free to give you suggestion since I am new to WordPress as well…

1. The entire space right of the logo looks empty can I have my menu moved there.
— Catch Everest Free theme has only option to add search box and social icons in the header right section.
— But if you upgrade to Catch Everest Pro, then you will get Header Right Sidebar and through “Appearance => Widgets”. You can add anything.

2. Are there any other styles for social media icons alternatively can I add my own
— You can try in the plugin at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/

3. In the footer it says “powered by WordPress : catch Everest ” can I change this to say something else.
— This is not allowed in Free Themes. As this is only means of recognition for our hard work to provide you theme and support for free.
— If that is required to removed then please feel free to upgrade to Pro version when you will get “Footer Editor” box in Theme Options panel.

4. Can I add “Request a quote” for on the home page.
— Yes, you can install any from plugin such as Contact Form 7 or Jetpack. Then add the form in an page. Then set that page as the front page from your “Settings => Reading”

also i have enabled the header right section which has the social networking icons and the seach box.

I would like to keep the social networking icons as they are but but only disable the search box which will move the navigation menu bar upward i have tried the bellow custom css but it did not work for me :

#header-content .searchform {
display: none;
}

secondly i would also like to know a easy way to reduce the height of the main slider undernavigation menu bar

@Impelpro: For Catch Everest Theme, you can add the following css.
#header-right .widget_search { display: none; }

To reduce the height of the slider, either use the Featured Image slider from Catch Everest Pro theme, where you can upload the image of any size. For free theme, upload the image of with 1140px and height of your own choice as a featured image of the post.
