that pesky white space!

Hello: I see this a lot on forums, but I need instructions for a non-coder/fairly new to wordpress guidance. Here is the problem site: http://www.crankyduck.com/Blowout/ Details: I am using pro so I could use the header widget: Header Bottom with an iframe of a youtube video. I want the white space above and below it--- to not be there! Issue #2: on my wish list: a way to make the background black--ONLY UNDER the video area, not the entire page.
