Text does not display in editing mode – only photos

Hi - I'm in Fotografie, and when I edit a page or a post, the text is not visible in edit mode - but it shows up fine to online viewers. I converted from a previous theme.  Someone suggested text color might be the issue, but the text is completely gone - not even the space it would take up is there.  I am able to view it in code editor - but I'm trying to line up images and text using blocks, which is currently not possible.  Website is tazmpictures.com.   Tom
