Testimonials URL in WordPress

This is how my testimonials URL currently looks: http://www.nurembergtours.co/blog/testimonials/ I want it to look like this: http://www.nurembergtours.co/testimonials/ I have tried everything under the sun to get rid of the "blog" portion of the URL, but nothing works. Please give me instructions for correcting this issue. Also, my blog URL looks like this: http://www.nurembergtours.co/blog/2014/ and I want it to look like this: http://www.nurembergtours.co/blog/ Please help.
