Testimonials

I have set up a staging site and am testing the testimonials section. Having set them up all I get is the testimonial text in the relevant display on the home page - it doesn't include the name of the person providing the testimonial (yes I did enter it in the relevant testimonial section in the menu) Also the testimonial seems to cut off - and not show even a full two lines of text. Are these limitations of the free theme which are only addressed in the pro version?
