Switching to Photo Journal Pro

Hello, I just purchased the Pro Photo Journal Theme but when I activate it my site is totallly broken, the portfolios disappear, so do the header images. I also use Jetpack. Can someone help me please? I bought it so my portfolios wouldn't show each time that someone visites a page, which is not very user friendly.
