Suggestion for site description code.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants this, I want to be able to put links in my "site description." I've edited my theme to allow me to do this, but every time I update I have to re-edit it. I was wondering if you would consider making it possible by default.   My edit is replacing the "site description" line of headers.php with this: <h2 id="site-description"><?php echo htmlspecialchars_decode(get_bloginfo( 'description' ), ENT_QUOTES); ?></h2>
