Submenu width and wiget background

Hi, The submenu of my Catch Everest Pro site is not wide enough - the subheading has to use 2 rows in some browsers. How can I make the submenu wider? (it's the first and third submenues under "Tjänster" that does not fit in) http://www.andersin.eu I would also like to add a background color to the sidebar widgets. How do I do that.
