Stop Text Wrapping On Page?

Hello, When I add a left justified image to my page, the content will wrap next to the image on the right instead of pushing down below the image. If I insert a centered image, the text will push down. Is there some code I can use at the page level to turn off the text wrap so that my text stays on the left and pushes down when I insert images? Thx.
