Stationary Title block

I'm wondering if the following is possible using these theme: I'd like to have the large pictures at the top rotate through. But instead of the rotating news feed as well, I'd like to have a single block of text that stays the same on every picture as the pictures rotate through. Also, I would like that block of text to not be a link to another page (just standalone text). Do you think this is possible with this theme? My site: texaspaceauthority.org
