Static Page

I've set my home page as the static page, and using my blog page, as the erm...blog page! However, when saved, it's showing the blog page as the static (ie. nothing but slideshow, menu and logo - which is exactly what I want for the home page...) It's probably very simple, I just can't see where I've gone wrong! Cheers
