Static frontpage not showing main content

I have configured the theme to display a static front page. I am using many sections (why choose us, services, team...) All these sections show OK, but the Main Content of the static page is not showing at all. I tried to change the ordering (Theme Options > Section Sorter), the Main Content does not show. Please help!
