some questions

Hi, I have a few questions if you don’t mind. First, I’m trying to add some social media icons. I’m following the instructions on http://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/adventurous-pro/ but it ‘s not working. Also, on the footer area how can I put the contact information below the paragraph that starts out “the information on this website. . . “? Also, how can I center the text in those two areas? Can I put them in divs and apply css that way?
