Social Media Links

I'm new to Wordpress. I've been using another CMS for years, so excuse my ignorance I downloaded and installed the Music Journal theme. One of the things I liked about it was the location of the social media buttons. So now's the problem. What do I need to add social media buttons (the plugin I have doesn't seem to work with the theme), and how do I get them in the same location? To the left of the name, under the feature image Also, where's the player?
