Sliders in Sidebars

Hi Took you suggestion and downloaded the WordPress Slider Plug In Pro. Installed it and it worked on a regular page - But then pasted the code into an optional sidebar and all I saw was the link [slider id='214' name='FSAV-one'], and not the slider. Is there another slider plugin that will work in Catch sidebars? Thanks Alan
