slider images overlap with grid content

Hello, Slider images on the website (https://blogs.rochester.edu/thegreendandelion/) overlap with grid content. Most of the articles (post) are written by students who just like to upload image as it is. Is there a way I can make sure images don't overlap. Thanks, Ranga
