Slider Image

I am using C. Everest Pro; None of the featured images is showing on the homepage where I want them. However, when clicking for the entire site they show up. the images that do show are very large. And again I only want the slide images on the home page not the entire site. Is there any suggestions as far as how to resolve this issue? thanks
