Slider for category images does not seem to be working

I've created categories and added featured images 1600 px x 600 px, but for some reason the slider images do no appear on the site www.thebickertons.com.au. I've not posted anything in the categories yet, but as i understand it, in this current version (only downloaded a week ago) you shouldn't need posts. Any suggestions? Thanks
