Site Title Can't Be Updated

I have recently modified my company name and need to change my site title. When I go into "Customize" and select "Site Title and Tagline," it kicks me you as soon as I try to type in the Site Title field. At the top it tells me that I'm previewing the theme, but I'm not. The theme is active. I have activated another theme and then reactivated Kathmandu Pro several times, but that hasn't worked either.
