Site not working in Internet Explorer 8

Hello, My new site I just created http://www.thesticksoutfitter.com works with safari and chrome, but not internet explorer. I recently added some simple coding to adjust background and font colors, but I'm not sure why it doesn't work with IE8. Thank you in advance for your help!
