Site identity

I doubt buying or Lucida pro or Gridalicious pro. The problem with Luicoda is the site identity and header. I want to know if it is possible to move the social links to the site identity. Now there is on the right site of the site identity a very big white space and the date in site header I don't need. If I remove the date, there is also a big white space left of social links. If it is possible to remove the items as I asked above, m then I can buy Lucida pro for our cycling club. regards Hans Hagmeijer
