Site header alternative

Hi, I know this is probably a long shot... I have a "second blog" page created via the category function (see Scrambled Egg under the blog tab at mademers.com). Problem is, I would like to have a unique header for that blog. Is there a way I can modify the code to change the site header for that category page and any posts that belong to it? Right now the only way I can do this, I think, is to create a subdomain, which would be a lot of work. So if there is an easier option, I would greatly appreciate discovering it. Thanks.
