Sidebar doesn’t display on homepage

Hi there, my sidebar doesn't appear on the homepage, I get this message: Your theme has 1 other widget area, but this particular page doesn’t display it. You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customizer to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages. How can I solve this? Kind regards, Wido
