Show theme from Sub Directory

I am working with our church's site fwbt.org and set up wordpress in a Sub Directory (fwbt.org/wp2019/). When you go to the site today it shows the full path in the url i.e. https://fwbt.org/wp2019/about/ I have researched how to show things as if it is in the main directory (i.e. .htaccess file update and change the site address). Only issue is when I do this the home page does not work. Every other page works perfectly fine.
