    Hi

    I’m using [testimonials] shortcode within a page, but the testimonials aren’t animated/sliding like they do on the front page. They’re just stacked stationary in a column. Is this possible with the free version of Essential Content Types or is an upgrade to the Pro version necessary?

    Thanks

    @matt-schofield: Can you please post in your site URL so that I can check for the issue and let you know exactly what needs to be done.

    @matt-schofield: Your site is showing jQuery errors. It looks like there is a plugin conflict with the theme. Please try deactivating all other plugins for testing purpose and activate one by one and follow this link to know more about plugin conflict with the theme.

    Hi Tikaram

    With all plugins deactivated, and only “Essential Content Types” activated, the [testimonials] shortcode at http://7zb.708.myftpupload.com/mammals/ still doesn’t animate. It’s just a static column.

    Hi Tikaram

    Apologies for the 404. I’ve been rebuilding the site from scratch and now have a new url to the issue I’ve described.

    The problem still persists. The testimonial items are just stacked and stationary, rather than animating/sliding.

    @matt-schofield: It looks like the image is sliding now. I recommend you to add the following additional css to display the slider properly.

    .ect-testimonial-content-section .cycle-pager span:after {
    	border: 1px solid #999 !important;
    }
    .ect-testimonial-content-section .cycle-pager .cycle-pager-active {
    	background-color: #000 !important;
    }
    .ect-testimonial-content-section .cycle-pager span {
    	height: 10px !important;
    	line-height: 10px !important;
    	width: 10px !important;
    }
    .ect-testimonial-content-section .controller {
    	bottom: -42px !important;
    }
    .ect-testimonial-content-section .testimonial_slider_wrap .entry-content {
    	padding-top: 28px !important;
    }

    Let me know if you have any more issues.

    Regards,
    Tikaram

    I’ve paid for and activated the Pro version of the Essential Content plugin. Now the [testimonials] shortcode has created animated items on the page, but they’re not presented to the same quality as they are on the front page. The thumbnails are smaller and the arrows to move from one item to another are not visible – http://p1b.a08.myftpupload.com/testimonials-test/

    It’s a similar problem with [featured_content] shortcode. Featured content on the front page is formatted great, but using the shortcode on a page in the site and the formatting and styling is lost – http://p1b.a08.myftpupload.com/get-involved/

    We’re using Catch Themes Personal Trainer Pro theme by the way. That had to be updated to v2.1.1 only last week for a problem with the Essential Content plugin. Skandha fixed that particular problem. Is the issue in the theme perhaps?

    Thanks, Matt
