Secondry Background Colour – Default Theme Colours

Hi, I have changed the secondry background colour to white however when I view the site it still shows as grey/blue? I want the whole website to be white so please can someone advise me on how to change the Top Header/Search Bar and Footer please. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Ian
