Search icon styling

Hi, I am trying to change the hover color on the search icon in the main header menu. I have tried .search-submit, .search-toggle, tried adding ::before, as well as button.search-submit plus -toggle, but none of those are working for me. Sorry my site isn't published, but I am working with Audioman Pro. Thank you!
