'Search Box Text Edit' not working

Hi, I'm using the Gridalicious theme and it seems that when I edit the search field text in the customizer 'theme options' and click 'save' it doesn't change the text on the front end. Is there another way I can change the text? Perhaps the 'searchform.php'?
