Responsive Custom Menu

Hi. When I view my site on mobile, or resize the web browser, any page not in the custom menu displays the last page in the menu as the page label on the left side of the bar.  In my case, "- Contact" shows, for example, when viewing the Welcome, Terms of Use, and other pages.  If I add another item to the menu at the top level, that label then displays on these same pages. This is also true for the Blog category page. Any thoughts?
