Removing Permalinks

Hi, You guys have been super helpful with all the questions so far-- thanks! I wanted to know how to remove the permalinks on the slider-- I don't want people to be able to click the image on the slider and get led to a useless post. I also wanted to know if there was a way to remove the 'Home' link that's at the bottom of the homepage under the three images. Lastly, Is there any way to change the order of the pages, or are they stuck in ABC order? I've tried a lot of different ways to change the order and make 'contact' the last tab, but since it starts with a 'c', it's the first page behind 'home'.   thanks again!
